Song of the week ending 30, Nov 2007

akadabam akadabam bhaje damaru
naache sadaasiva jagadaguro

Jagadguru Sadasiva is dancing and his damaru is making the sound of 'akadabam'

Naache brahma naache vishnu naache mahadev
Kaaliya madahara kaanha naache hara hara mahadev
Veena lekar naarada naache hara hara mahadev

Brahma, Vishnu and Siva are dancing (Sadasiva is the merging of the trinity and Ishwara who appears when trinity become one)
Krishna who killed Kaaliya (dancing on top of the snake) is dancing singing glories of Sadasiva
Narada is dancing along with playing of Veena singing glories of Sadasiva

This song is a very simple bhajan song that speaks about dancing of Sadasiva when he is blissful. When the Lord of the universe (Sadasiva) who has the power of Tripurasundari (Devi) dances, the entire world dances. This song is apt for dancing in bliss - mere listening and merging into the song will give the seeker a glimpse of the blissful state of Brahman. The song has been recorded in my voice which can be found here. Please bear the noise, disturbance and awful singing as am not a singer.
