O Devi! You know are situated at the top of the six chakras of the body which is called sushumna naadi and are the light (Conscious principle) for each of them to work

Jwalat koti bhaalarkabhaasaarunaangeem sulavanya sringara shobhaabhiraamaam
Mahapadmakinchalkamadhye viraajat trikonaalasantheem bhaje sreebhavaaneem

You shine bright and red like crores of rising sun together are present
I worship you who is endowed with all auspicious qualities and are situated at the middle of trikona (triangle) sitting in the big lotus at that place (sahasraara)

Kvanal kinkini noopuro bhaasiranthaa prabhaaleeda laakshaardhra paadaravindam
Ajeshachyuthadyai sura sevyamaanaam mahaadevi manmurdhanitha bhaavayaami

That light which shines in the town of our body from head to toe
And is eternal, without decay, worshipped by various Gods and is Mahadevi - such a devi as situated in the middle of my head I contemplate

Sunaasaputam padmapatraayaksham mukham devi bhakthestadasreekataaksham
Lalaatojwalalgandha kasthooribhoosho jwalalpoorna chandraprabham te bhajeham

Your face is like a fully blossomed lotus, endowed with lotus-eyes and grants all the wishes of your devotees
I worship you who have forehead shining bright with tamarind and shining like a full moon

Tvamarkas tvamagnis tvamaapas tvamindus tvamaakasha bhoorvaayu sarvamtvameva
Tvadanyam na kinchit prakaashosthi sarvam sadaanandasamvit svaroopam bhajeham

You are Sun; you are fire; you are water; you are ocean; you are space, earth, air; everything is you only
There is nothing apart from you that shines (exist in the world), I worship you who are of the nature of ever blissful Consciousness

Sivastvam giristvam cha shakthistvameva tvamevaasi maata pithaa cha tvameva
Tvamevaasi vidhya tvamevaasi bandhurgathirme mathirdevi sarvam tvameva

You are Siva; you are the moutains; you are shakthi; you are mother and father
You are knowledge, you are relative, O Devi you are my goal, my intellect and everything

Sharanye varenye sukaarunya purnai hiranyodaraadvaira ganyaih supoornai
Bhavaaranya bheethischa maam pahi bhadre namaste namaste punaste namosthu

You are to be surrendered unto, you are to be aspired for, you are perfect and to be attained by everyone
Save me from the fear of the ocean of samsaara as I have surrendered unto you; again and again I offer prostrations unto you.

Bhavani bhavani bhavaneethi vaani mudaaramudaaraamuda ye bhajanthi
Na shoko na papo na rogo na mrithyur kadaachit kadaachit kadaachit naranaam

You are bhavani, you are vani; and whoever worships you with devotion again and again
Such a person will never ever be tainted by sorrow, sins, diseases and death
