O Lord you are the refuge, you are the refuge
You are the refuge for those who have no other place to go

Arivilla thavaraane bhagavaane
Aashrayam ekane bhagavaane
Maranam varayum nin thiru naamam
Mananam (smaranam) cheyyenam bhagavaane

O Lord! Not having knowledge is a fault
But do protect me by giving me knowledge O Lord!
Till death to chant your name
Let me remember to do so O Lord!

Kaliyuga varadanaam bhagavaane
Mama jeevanaam praananaam bhagavaane
Kanivodu nin paada padma thinkal
Asharananaye ennennum chertheedane

O Lord! You are the boon-giver of Kaliyuga
You are the vital force of my life O Lord!
By compassion protect me and take me unto your lotus feet as I have surrendered unto you O Lord!
